The Outdoor Movie Night is for movie lovers to enjoy a different type of entertainment, set around a wonderful and beautiful outdoor environment.
Wood Affair events manager Mthulisi Moyo said: "This event is also about social networking and it is centred on our highlight service of Picnic setups and events."
Moyo told the Daily News that those arriving at 5pm will get an opportunity to enjoy food and drinks as well as watch the sunset before the movie starts.
The first edition was on February 15 a day after Valentine's Day and it was mainly focusing around couples so as to complement Valentine's Day.
"The reaction to this event has so far been great, people love the idea and they enjoyed the first edition," said Moyo.
Moyo said hosting these movie nights is an idea that has always been at the back of their heads; on how best they can bring in a fairly new concept of entertainment.
"What really inspired us to give it a shot was a tweet from where people were asked to list activities or events that Bulawayo needs to keep entertained," said Moyo.
The second edition will be hosted by Wood Affair Events and co-hosted by The Barn (venue) together with support from Coca-Cola.
"We have various foods and drink stall holders during the event and we hope to rope in more in the second event. We have also made ticket sales more flexible as people can buy tickets in the comfort of their homes via online platform www.ticketjoint.co.zw and they can also purchase tickets at the gate on the day," Moyo said.
