To play, customers should activate location-based services on their phone and register online. A screen pops up to prompts them to enter their mobile number.
The number is then authenticated by a One Time Password (OTP) that is instantly texted to the customer.
Once the customer enters the OTP code and accepts the terms and conditions, they are ready to play, said Navdeep Kapur, the Chief Commercial Officer at Econet Wireless Zimbabwe.
Customers can win any of up to ZWD 1 million worth of prizes, called YoAtoms. To try to win, customers must navigate using maps on their phone to secret locations where they can pick up prizes, such as smartphones, EcoCash money, airtime and TV sets
