Three Zimbabwe students who were sponsored by the Ministry Of ICT through POTRAZ and walked away with the top award at the 10th World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum in Geneva, Switzerland in April this year have done it again at this year's World Summer Schools Competition held in Paris.

Computer students Isaac Gadzimbe (University of Zimbabwe), Kudakwashe Godfrey Paradzayi (Harare Institute of Technology) and Charmaine Matsaudza (National University of Science and Technology), scooped the Learning Planet Student Award over the weekend.

The competition was made up of over 20 Summer Schools drawn from Europe and the United States and also having prestigious universities such as Havard, the University of Geneva and the University of Paris as participants.

The Learning Planet initiative aims at scaling up pedagogies for Sustainable Development Goals to engage all students worldwide in learning about common problems that affect communities and designing sustainable solutions.
