The gospel songbird appears to have mastered the art of continuously attracting new audiences, while also retaining her old fans by being innovative with her music.
The Makomborero hit-maker told NewsDay Weekender Life &Style that the eight-track album – which carries a prophetic message – will be exclusively on the Buddie Beatz platforms for close to a month before being captured on CD.
"I am so excited that Buddie Beatz will be the sole platform where my forthcoming album will be released and available for a month before unveiling it on CD and on iTunes for the international and diaspora audience," she said.
"The whole idea to unveil Prophetic Ancient Voice on Buddie Beatz platform is to encourage online music consumption among Zimbabweans because that is where technology is going. The sooner and faster we adapt, the more enhanced we are as a people."
Mashavave has applauded the telecommunications giant for creating such a platform for musicians so that they sell and promote their music online.
"With this world of technology, the idea is that everyone who has access to a technological gadget has easy access to my music, without having to rely only on CD players which are, in most cases, limited in terms of mobility and privacy," she said.
The musician said some of the songs set to feature on the album are Ngaaone, Mutsvene, Tomorrow, Tiri Vana Vehumambo, NaJesu Tinoenda Kure, Nditorei featuring Shuvai Wutaunashe and Uya Mweya (Hymn 102).
