First Capital bankers can now enjoy the full benefits of Zipit

First Capital Bank, (formerly known as Barclays) has finally and fully joined ZIPIT allowing their customers to access all the mobile banking services to send and receive money at their own comfort adding serious convenience.

The system change over which occurred from the 28th of February to the 4th of March has seen the bank automating ZIPIT services, with news reaching us stating that they will also be soon incorporating EcoCash into their platform.

First Capital only received instant transaction from ZIPIT , while their clients were not enabled to send to other banks.

The news has been received with much excitement, as most transactions are now being completed via mobile, allowing customers’ convenience without any need to be actually in the banking hall

The bank has been on ZIPIT since July 2017 and took them an awfully 1 year 9 months long to implement the integration.

Zipit is an innovation which was introduced by ZimSwitch which enables users to access their banks using a phone without having to go there physically.

One can send and receive money to any bank, pay bills, buy electricity tokens and buy airtime as well.
