Comprehensive auto insurance sounds like a great deal. After all, who wouldn't want an auto insurance policy that's "comprehensive"?

State owned Mobile operator, NetOne has introduced a new insurance product into the market.

OneSure is NetOne second insurance product, in March the state own mobile operator partnered with Champions Insurance. The deal saw the introduction of short term mobile insurance.

Choosing an insurance plan can be overwhelming because there are so many plans and companies to choose from. Despite all these options, though, most of the time you're paying for the name of the plan, not the quality of the coverage.

According to NetOne, Customers will receive free airtime on every insurance purchased in NetOne outlets through LA Guard.

Zimbabwe's insurance industry has potential to boost low savings appetite as well as local investments, which will counter over reliance on foreign investments. The sector has the capacity to revive the economy.

Here's how OneSure will work:

OneSure will let you buy insurance via a monthly subscription of between $35 to $500, depending on the car. Once you have subscribed OneSure will throw in FREE airtime and sim card. With OneSure you will be able to pay for your Zinara, ZBC licenses and all other vehicle insurance at any NetOne shops.

NetOne has partnered with a 13 insurance companies like Champions Insurance, CBZ insurance, FBC insurance, Cell insurance and many more.

The max value of the insurance that can be taken on OneSure is $10000

NetOne diversifying its business

Ultimately, NetOne continues to diversify its business and rely on other income sources, despite it being the second as the leading Telecom Company in Zimbabwe.  The future in NetOne lies in growth and the company is working on numerous projects that could help continue to propel NetOne's growth.  It will certainly be interesting to see the early response of OneSure and how consumers with partake it.
