TelOne Centre for Learning to become a specialised ICT University

It was a joyous day at TelOne Centre for Learning where 225 telecommunication technician graduands were awarded diplomas and degrees after successfully completing their courses.

Speaking at the ceremony, TelOne Managing Director Mrs Chipo Mtasa said TelOne has a master plan for TelOne Centre for Learning to become a specialised ICT University. "This development will see us growing our student enrolment from current 1 318 full-time students to 6 600."

Addressing graduands at the TCFL Graduation ICT Deputy Minister Hon. J. Muswere said Government is aware of the importance of technology and views ICT as an economic enabler. "Digitisation, Internet of Things, Big Data among others are the reality of the new economy."

TelOne Centre For Learning has been growing over the years and recently revealed plans to restructure and attain a  University status, the Centre for Learning is largely recognized in training students in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and producing a significant number in Human Capital Development.
