Digitalisation will enable the country to host 24 new high definition channels. Zimbabwe claims that it is Open for Media Business under the new dispensation. The airwaves are in the process of being opened.

The Hwange transmitter will cover a radius of 60km. Construction of the transmitter began in 2017. Matabeleland North Province has three existing transmitters. Four more transmitters are being erected in Hwange, Nkayi, Tsholotsho and Hwange. pic.twitter.com/zZiAoDAX1G
