Good news, students will now have until Friday, 26 October 2018 to enter the 2018 edition of DStv Eutelsat Star Awards competition. The closing date has been extended to allow science and technology fans between the ages of 14 and 19 have extra time to be inspired to write a creative essay or design a poster.
This year's topic is "Currently, satellites are being used in a variety of ways but there is always room for expansion and growth. Write an essay or design a poster on areas you believe the full potential of satellites has not yet been tapped into or embraced."

Students between the ages of 14 and 19 now have extra time to be inspired to write a creative essay or design a poster. Only entries submitted on the official entry form will be eligible. The overall winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in February 2019.
