Mandiwanzira is accused of criminal abuse of office after allegedly appointing his unqualified personal assistant Tawanda Chinembiri to the Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory (Potraz) board.
Prosecutor George Manokore sought a longer postponement in anticipation that the pending High Court proceedings would have been finalised by then.
Mandiwanzira's lawyer Thembinkosi Magwaliba consented to the postponement. Initially, Mandiwanzira was facing two criminal abuse of office charges, with one relating to his engagement of a South African company, Megawatt, to do consultancy work for NetOne.
