First Capital Bank IT system migration pushed back to 15 March

First Capital Bank formerly known as Barclays has changed its Information technology (IT) systems migration date from 4 March 2019 to 15th of March 2019.

Upon completion of the project, the bank's systems will integrate with those of their group, FMB Holdings Plc, enabling the bank to offer a wider range of products and services.

In a Press statement issued today, First Capital Bank said the IT migration previously scheduled to take effect From 4 March 2019 will now commence on the 15th of March 2019. This is to allow the bank to scope the impact of the latest Monetary Policy statement on the IT systems.

"During the rescheduled migration weekend, our branches will be closed on the 14th and 15th of March 2019. Internet and Mobile banking services will not be available during the rescheduled migration period."

SYSTEM MIGRATION Change of dates

We advise our valued customers, clients and other stakeholders that the IT migration previously scheduled to take effect From 4 March 2019 will now commence on the 15th of March 2019. This is to allow the bank to scope the impact of the latest Monetary Policy statement on the IT systems. In the meantime normal services will continue through our branch network and on our Internet and mobile banking platforms.

During the rescheduled migration weekend, our branches will be closed on the 14th and 15th of March 2019. Internet and Mobile banking services will not be available during the rescheduled migration period.
