When we reached out to the Zimpapers Public Relations and Corporate Affairs Manager, Beatrice Tonhodzayi for comment, she professed ignorance of such developments stating that no one in the Executive or management has been fired.
However, when we reached out to the StarFM Deputy Manager Piwayi Dzuda, he confirmed to us that he had willfully parted ways with the stable to pursue other interests.
It is alleged that Mr Dzuda was undergoing some internal disciplinary process and however chose to cut it off by calling it quits.
We are still awaiting confirmation from Beatrice whether or not there are any senior managers affected by such a move.
