Developer Telltale Games has released the first three Netflix-adapted episodes of its interactive adventure, Minecraft: Story Mode.

It has been adapted from its original, point-and-click version into a simpler version that is compatible with Netflix.

Minecraft: Story Mode allows viewers to choose how the story progresses by making decisions at key intervals, rather than playing as a full game.

You will follow the story of Jesse, who can be played as either a male or female character.

The final two episodes of the first season will be released on 5 December, with the possibility of a second season remaining unclear.

Telltale games laid off 90% of its staff in September, retaining just a skeleton staff to fulfill their remaining obligations – such as Minecraft: Story Mode.

Minecraft: Story Mode is available on Netflix on iOS, smart TVs, computers, and gaming consoles.

However, Android users will need to download an app to access the series.

The trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode can be viewed below.
