Following NetOne's hiking of data, there has been a message circulating on Twitter that Econet has followed suit.
The social media post was claiming the mobile company has also suspended WhatsApp Monthly bundles.
The Strive Masiyiwa-owned company sent a message to its customers: "Dear Customer. Please disregard the message circulating on social media. Our Data tariffs remain unchanged. Any changes will be formally communicated."
