The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) would like to advise its valued customers that there would be a power supply interruption on Sunday 28 October 2018 from 0600 - 1800 hrs for the purpose of carrying out critical maintenance works.
During the maintenance period, electricity will not be available in the following areas:
Borrowdale Central, Borrowdale West, Part of Vainona, Rolf Valley, Chisipite, Ballantyne Park, Mt Pleasant, Arundel Office Park, Mt Pleasant Business Park, Ryelands, Helensvale, Philadelphia, Hogerty Hill, Luna, Brookview, Mountain Breeze, Hatcliffe, Arda Nijo, Crow Hill, Greystone Park, Kambanji, Pomona, SIRDC, Wingate, Mabvuku, Tafara, Lafarge, Domboshava Road, Pomona Area, Guildford farms, Rumbavu Park, Gletwyn Farm, Chisipite, Glenlorne, Umsinsidale, Chishawasha Hills, Spring Heights, Hunters Moon, Folyjohn, Zimre Park, Ruwa Industrial, Ruwa residential, Damafalls ,Windsor Park, Goromonzi Turn Off area & Plots, New Martins Thorpe, Mandara, Chikurubi, ZRP Support Unit, Manresa, Athlone, Letombo Pumps, Amby, Msasa Industry, Greengrove, Greendale, Greendale North, Chisipite and The Grange.
Customers are advised to treat all circuits as live during this period as power may be restored without notice.
Meanwhile, ZESA clients taking electricity in the areas mentioned below are advised that Alaska 132kv, Chinhoyi 132kv & Mhangura 88kv Substations will be shut down for maintenance works on Saturday 27th of October 2018 from 0600hrs to 1800hrs.
The Mains and all electrical installations should be treated as LIVE during this period as power maybe switched on anytime without notice .
AREAS AFFECTED: Chinhoyi town and surrounding farms, Murombedzi, Mwanga, Baguta, Glen Esk, Glenside, Trelawney, Chitomborwizi, Alaska, Lions den, Chikuti, Tengwe, Karol town and surrounding farms, Magunje, Makuti, Gache kache, Zvipani, Chidamoyo, Mhangura town and surrounding areas, Doma, Palm tree, Buffalo downs, Green valley.
