Claycia Johnson, BMW Digtal Marketing and ConnectedDrive manager will be delivering a keynote at the IoT Africa Summit on the 17th October in Johannesburg. She will elaborate on how to effectively curate value from IoT data. The real value of IoT lies in the utilisation of actionable insights gathered from IoT data. She will cover the key points that must be considered whilst devising the IoT implementation architecture in order to extract value from IoT.
Claycia has worked in the automotive industry within BMW Group SA for the past 7 years between both the MINI and BMW brands. She is a highly driven individual motivated by the possibilities of what the future holds. Achieving the best result for all stakeholders is a high priority to her.
Claycia has been responsible for critical aspects within BMW Group SA focusing on product and pricing positioning, and bringing key technologies and innovations into the South African market. She has been responsible for developing and evolving Connected Car technologies since 2014 within the local market. She has also been instrumental in implementing the BMW ConnectedDrive online store locally. Claycia is currently providing and executing a digitalisation strategy to further strengthen the business. Ensuring that businesses keep up with the changes in their environment, consumers, competitors and offerings is key to remaining competitive and relevant.
