ZERA seeks the services of a highly competent, professional and results-oriented individual on a fixed term contract in the following role:
COMPLIANCE OFFICER (6 months fixed term contract) Reporting directly to the Senior Economic Regulation Manager, the Key Job Functions of this position will be:
Responsible for carrying out enforcement activities in the Energy Sector.
To ensure 100% adherence to all license compliance issues including pricing, licensing, returns submission requirements of the petroleum sector.
Responsible for the processing of prosecution cases involving violations of the petroleum sector conditions.
To ensure establishment of sound working relations with other regulatory agencies.
To manage a sound database of all cases involving prosecutions.
Receive, analyse and take necessary action on all reports from regional offices and other state and non-state agencies.
Continuous engagement with licensees and other stakeholders. a Conduct stakeholder awareness and education programs.
Produce monthly, quarterly and annual compliance reports of the petroleum sector.
Key Job Requirements:
The successful candidate for this position should meet the following criteria:
Degree in Business Studies, Commerce or related field.
Proven experience and record spanning at least 3 years in the petroleum sector or related field in a similar role.
Must have good public relations and communication skills.
Should have good analytical skills and be conversant with Excel spread sheets. a Should have general knowledge of energy regulation.
Must be honest and trustworthy.
Clean class 4 drivers' license a must.
